Heavy rains Monday caused flooding along the Rappahannock River, including at City Dock in Fredericksburg.
The National Weather Service predicts continued showers and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight Monday, then scattered showers in the Fredericksburg region overnight.
The National Weather Service predicts the crest at City Dock to reach 16.8 feet sometime after midnight Monday, into early Tuesday morning. Flood stage at City Dock is 18 feet. Old Mill Park is closed due to flooding, as is River Road in Stafford.
