Woman Faces Murder Charge For Overdose In Fredericksburg: Police
A woman was served a murder indictment for the overdose death of a friend last spring in Fredericksburg, according to Fredericksburg Police.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—A woman was served a murder indictment this week for the drug overdose death of a friend last spring in the 1000 block of Hermitage Park Drive, Fredericksburg Police announced Thursday.
Nicole Coon, 29, of no fixed address, was issued a felony direct indictment for homicide, four counts of possession of a schedule I/II drug, two counts of distribution of a schedule I/II drug and two counts of child abuse. She's being held without bond.
Around noon on May 19, police received a report of a drug overdose in an apartment at the aforementioned address. They found an unconscious woman—later identified as Dynasty L. Anderson, 33, of Fredericksburg—and began life-saving measures, including doses of Narcan.

She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died. During an ensuing five-month investigation, police found evidence that Cool sold Anderson the heroin on which she overdosed. On Oct. 23, the Fredericksburg Circuit Court issued the indictment.
