Woman Reports Jewelry Stolen from Bedroom

Several larcenies were reported in Fredericksburg over the past few days.

A resident in the 1700 block of Charles Street reported to Fredericksburg police on Monday that jewelry was stolen from her bedroom.

Fredericksburg police reported that the jewelry was stolen on July 9. Some of the jewelry was later discovered to have been sold to Fredericksburg Gold and Pawn, said Fredericksburg police public information officer Natalia Bledsoe. The investigation is ongoing.

1600 block of Franklin Street, July 29–30 8:45 a.m. A resident reported that a quantity of loose change was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

900 block of Hanover Street, July 29–30 3 a.m. A resident reported that his bicycle was stolen from the front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Homewood Suites, 1040 Hospitality Lane, July 30 2 a.m.-10:30 a.m. A guest reported that the lock was broken off his tag-along trailer and a quantity of ammunition was stolen from inside. The rear window of the vehicle pulling the trailer was also shattered. The investigation is ongoing.

Vandalism: 

Cal Ripken Foundation, 1000 Wicklow Drive, July 27–30 7 a.m. The manager reported that a sign mounted on the side of the building was damaged. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
