• George Mason University students tried to increase turnout there... and it worked (wvtf.org) — George Mason University students in Fairfax County helped boost voter turnout at their campus precinct, making it the only one in the county to improve over the 2024 presidential election. Student organizers used social media and peer outreach to encourage classmates to vote, framing participation as a way to influence Virginia politics and protect democracy.
