City View Brewhouse. A new brewhouse and restaurant will soon call the Route 1 corridor home. City View Brewhouse will be located at 6925 Richmond Highway on the corner of East Lee Avenue.

Music on the Mall happens Tuesdays at noon through Aug. 29. Today, listen to Mary Alouette, a Washington, DC native heavily influenced by guitarist Django Reinhardt. All concerts in this series are held at 7th and Jefferson Drive at the National Mall in Washington, DC.

Learn about a secret rescue – the untold story of American nurses
 and medics who crash-landed behind Nazi lines in November 1943. Author Cate Lineberry discusses her book on the subject and signs books as well. The event is at noon, it’s free and no registration is required at the Spy Museum, 800  F St., NW, Washington, DC.
