Historic Huntley is owned and operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority and is a part of Huntley Meadows Park. This historic property was newly restored and opened to the public in 2012. It is a stunning example of Federal period architecture and was once owned by Thomson Francis Mason, grandson of the Founding Father George Mason.

Thomson Francis Mason built Huntley as a summer retreat from the city of Alexandria, D.C. where he worked as a lawyer, and also served as a mayor and federal judge. Huntley later was transformed into a dairy farm by the Harrison family in the late 19th century. Historic Huntley captivates us with stories of power, home, and endurance.
