Fort Hunt Recap: Few Kids From Sandburg, Walt Whitman Admitted to TJHSST

Ashley Wagner, a West Potomac alum, recently relocated to Southern California to ramp up her ice skating training for the 2014 Olympics.

Though Fort Hunt High School was shut down in 1985,  1471 people have joined the Facebook page, which receives constant posts reminiscing, planning reunions and updating friends on news.

While Carson Middle school had 68 students  admitted to Thomas Jefferson High School during the 2009-2010 school year, just four students at Carl Sandburg Middle school were. There was not a single admit from Walt Whitman middle school.
