Knife Removed from School Bus: Police
Police and FCPS officials arrived on the scene and were able to recover the weapon and remove the involved students from the bus.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police said Wednesday they removed a knife from a Fairfax County Public Schools school bus Tuesday afternoon.
Fairfax County Police removed the knife Tuesday afternoon from the bus at 2800 block of Boswell Avenue. They said the knife was removed from the bus at 2:44 p.m.
The driver of the Fairfax County school bus was notified by a student that there was a knife on the bus, police said. The driver responded calmly and immediately contacted the proper authorities, according to police.

Police and FCPS officials arrived on the scene and were able to recover the weapon and remove the involved students from the bus without incident, police said. The students on the bus remained calm and were respectful and compliant throughout the process, according to police.
No students were injured, according to police. The incident is still under investigation, police said.
