In his role as supervisor, Storck has highlighted accomplishments such as accelerating the revitalization of the Richmond Highway corridor, helping to save River Farm from being sold, leading Fairfax Green Initiatives, opening of the Lorton Community Center co-located with Lorton Library and Lorton Park, investments in the Original Mount Vernon High School and more.
"The Mount Vernon District is vibrant and growing, with many new young families moving here, increased housing opportunities, more job options and growing businesses," wrote Storck in a letter to followers. "At the same time, our seniors and family-focused core continues to be healthy and thriving. Helping each individual and our community reach their full potential goes to the core of my commitment to you."

He also serves on the Joint Board/School Board Environmental Task Force, the Alexandria, District of Columbia, Fort Belvoir and Prince William interjurisdictional committees, Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments' Chesapeake Bay and Water Resources Policy Committee, and Virginia Association of Counties board and Energy Subcommittee.
In his professional line of work, Storck has owned health care and benefits firms. He is a previous board member of Good Shepherd Housing, West Potomac High School PTSA and Riverside Gardens Recreation Association.
Storck has been married to his wife, Deb, for over 40 years and has three children. He's also shared a love for history through re-enactments of President Abraham Lincoln.
Lusk was first elected to the board in 2019, becoming the first African American man to serve on the board. Before joining the board, Lusk worked as a county employee for 32 years, including human services roles in the Richmond Highway corridor, staff of two previous Boards of Supervisors, and marketing director for the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. He was also a member of the Fairfax County Planning Commission and the Fairfax County Park Authority.
In his first term, Lusk has worked on providing food distributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting the Bus Rapid Transit progression on Richmond Highway, renaming the district from Lee to Franconia, and opening the Hybla Valley Community Center with a workforce skills training center.
"I remember all the commitments that I made to you when I asked for your vote in 2019," said Lusk in a campaign video. "I'm proud of what we've accomplished together, but our fight is far from over."
Lusk is chairman of the Board of Supervisors' Public Safety Committee and vice chair of the Personnel and Reorganization Committee. He is also part of the county's Successful Children and Youth Policy Team and secretary treasurer of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. Lusk and his wife, Jacquelyn, have two daughters.
Voters will cast ballots for the Board of Supervisors, Fairfax County School Board and Virginia General Assembly races in 2023. If a primary election is called, it would be held on June 20, 2023. The general election will be on Nov. 7, 2023.
