Police: Woman Assaulted, Robbed at Mount Eagle Park in Huntington
Police are looking for a suspect in Monday morning's robbery.
Fairfax County Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred at Mount Eagle Park, 5919 N. Kings Highway in Huntington Monday morning. The park is near the Huntington Metro Station.
According to police, a 23-year-old woman was walking through Mount Eagle Park around 7:40 a.m. when she was assaulted by a man. The suspect struck the victim and took cash and property from her. The suspect then fled on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as black, in his mid-20’s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing between 190 and 210 pounds, and wearing a black hoodie.
