Robbery at Gunpoint Friday on Southgate Drive: Police

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police say a local business was robbed at gunpoint Friday night on Southgate Drive. Police responded at about 8:05 p.m. to the 3100 block of Southgate Drive for a report of a robbery. Police said a man entered a business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Police didn't give the name of the business or its exact location.

The victim, a store employee, did not require medical attention, police said. The suspect was described as black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build, wearing a black shirt and brown khakis.
