
This weekend brings several events related to the Scottish Christmas Walk weekend and parade to Old Town Alexandria.
The center’s Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend and Parade is the largest fundraising activity for the Campagna Center, which serves more than 1,700 Alexandria children and their families daily.
The parade itself is free and does not require tickets, but several other events do require tickets.

Those events include the Taste of Scotland Patron Pub and general admission to the Taste of Scotland Friday evening at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
Tickets for the Holiday Home tours in Old Town are also still available. The tour will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The heather and greens sale does not require tickets and will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Christmas marketplace also does not require tickets and will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday’s events culminate with the Boat Parade of Lights on Alexandria’s waterfront beginning at 5:15 p.m. although dockside festivities begin about an hour earlier.
