Super Bowl Sunday Fundraiser in Fort Hunt to Feature Buffet, Silent Auction

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Looking for Super Bowl party plans and want to help a good cause? River Bend Bistro & Wine Bar will welcome the Santa Claus Yacht Club for their annual Super Bowl fundraiser again this year on Super Bowl Sunday.

The event will raise money for the Santa Claus Yacht Club, a charitable organization that provides assistance to less-fortunate children in the Alexandria area. The group has recently extended their reach and are now providing aid to sheltered families finding self-subsistence and disaster victims struck by tragedy.

River Bend Bistro’s Executive Chef Caroline Ross will roll-out an "all you can eat" buffet that will include bacon dip, salads, hot dogs, chili, chicken wings, potato skins, BBQ and confections.

Attendees will be able to watch the big game and all the action including half-time commercials on two large-screen TVs. There will also be a Silent Auction and Cash Bar.

Tickets are $40 each and tickets can be purchased at the bar at River Bend Bistro. The Bistro will be closed during the event. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event as well as in advance at the bar.
