Suspect Faces Charges in Armed Robbery of Beacon Center Party Depot Store: Police

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police say they have charged a suspect involved in the armed robbery Sept. 13 of the Party Depot store at Beacon Center in Fairfax County.

After a thorough investigation, detectives from the Major Crimes Division, Robbery Squad, identified the suspect Thursday as Cornelius Anthony Sniper, 29, of the Alexandria area. Sniper is charged with four counts of abduction, robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and use or display of a firearm in commission of a felony, according to police. Sniper was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 20, and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where the warrants were served, police said.
