West Potomac Science Olympiad Team Participates in Regional Tournament

The West Potomac Science Olympiad team under direction of Coach Eli Hyman participated in the regional tournament on March 2 at Kilmer Middle School.   

The two West Potomac teams fielded participants in all 20 events! Although we didn’t take home any medals, we held our own against powerhouse schools like TJ and Langley who put 3 teams each into the tournament. By the end of the competition we were tired out, but still having fun. This was a building year with a majority of first timers.  We can look forward to an exciting year in 2014 and possibly a State Tournament this year!
