HERNDON, VA — Wet weather failed to dampen the spirit of spectators and marchers alike during Saturday's Herndon Homecoming Parade 2023. This year's theme was “Music Through the Decades (70s-2000s).”

Kicking off at 9 a.m., 52 floats and several hundred participants, including athletes, band members, clubs, performers, scouts, politicians, businesses, and community groups marched down Elden and Lynn streets, buoyed by the cheers and applause of the crowd.

Herndon Mayor Sheila Olem, Vice Mayor Clark Hedrick, Councilmember Donielle M. Scherff, and Councilmember Cesar del Aguila presided over the parade.
