Academic Achievements Of Herndon College Students Recognized: Report
Patch highlights the academic achievements of college students from the Herndon area.

HERNDON, VA — To shine a light on the academic achievements of college students from the Herndon area, Patch shares information provided by the students' families and Merit News.
Jessica Saylor, a Herndon High School Class of 2020 graduate and a mass communications major with a concentration in public relations, was named to the dean’s list at Virginia Commonwealth University for the fall 2023 semester. The Herndon resident is a senior at VCU, who earned the honor by posting a 3.8 semester grade point average. To be eligible for the dean’s list at VCU, students must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average for that semester with no grade below a C.
Hannah Mordin of Oak Hill was recently named to the Western Carolina University Fall 2023 Chancellor's List. Mordin was among more than 1,600 students to achieve this honor. To qualify for the Chancellor's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.8 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Eight students from Herndon were recently named to the Fall 2023 President's List at Southern New Hampshire University. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. To be considered as a full-time student at SNHU, a student must complete 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms.
