America's First Ladies Spotlighted In NextStop Theatre's New Show

HERNDON, VA — NextStop Theatre Company is debuting "46 Plays for America's First Ladies," a fast-paced comedy looking at American HER-story, on Friday at its performance space in Herndon.

Devised by the Neo-Futurists, a Chicago-based theater collective, "First Ladies" is a collection of 46 short plays about the often under-appreciated women who served as the First Lady of the United States.

The show, which is presented under two hours, is something of a companion piece to NextStop's highly successful production of "45 Plays for 45 Presidnts" in 2018.

"46 Plays for America's First Ladies" runs from Jan. 27 through Feb. 19, at NextTop Theatre Company, which is located at 269 Sunset Park Drive in Herndon. Tickets are available for $45 plus processing fees at www.nextstoptheatre.org/46firstladies or by calling the box office at 703-481-5930.
