Auburn School Students Beautify School With Original Mural
The mural was made from recycled bottle caps.

Auburn School in Herndon is looking prettier these days, thanks to an original mural created by the school's students.
The school's students from kindergarten through 10th grade created the mural from recycled bottle caps.

"We collected the caps all school year long, and then created an underwater scene," said art teacher Melanie Lupien. "The final art mural is amazing and the students are so proud."
Auburn School is a private special education school for children with social and communication challenges.

"They are so pleased with their art, and it turned out better then we ever expected," Lupien added, saying she hopes more schools start using recycled items to create art.
