Herndon Centennial Golf Course Reopens With Some Restrictions

Herndon Centennial Golf Course reopened Wednesday after being closed since March 27 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

HERNDON, VA — After being closed since March 27 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Herndon Centennial Golf Course reopened Wednesday morning, according to a Town of Herndon release. While the driving range is open, some of its facilities — the clubhouse, restrooms, and Karne Café — will remain closed until further notice.

In order to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19, the illness associated with the new coronavirus, customers can book their tee times online, thereby limiting interaction with Centennial's staff. All online booking must be pre-paid using credit cards only. The course is not accepting discounts, rain checks, or gift certificates at this time.

Customers are asked to use social distancing when using the practice range. The putting green will only be available for players warming up before their rounds and customers must not arrive at the course more than 15 minutes prior to their tee time.
