Herndon Elects: Boysko, Shin, Dranesville Supervisor, School Board Rep
Herndon votes and choses a slate of Democrats to represent them locally and in the Virginia General Assembly.

HERNDON, VA — Herndon voters elected a slate of Democrats on Tuesday to represent them in the Virginia General Assembly, as well as on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and the School Board.
With Dranesville Supervisor John Foust's (D) decision not to seek re-election, Herndon voters had two candidates to choose from to be his successor. They elected Democrat James N. "Jimmy" Bierman over Republican Challenger Puneet Ahluwalia.
Former School Board Member Elaine Tholen (Dranesville) also chose not to run again. Herndon voters elected Robyn A. Lady, who defeated Paul M. Bartkowski on Tuesday. Although school board candidates run as independents, Lady was endorsed by the Fairfax County Democratic Committee.
