Herndon's Deltek To Acquire Workforce Management Provider Replicon

HERNDON, VA — Deltek, a Herndon-based software and solutions provider, announced Thursday that it had agreed to acquire workforce management service provider Replicon.

Headquartered in Calgary, Canada, Replicon delivers software for unified project time tracking, project billing, time and attendance, compliance, professional services automation, to more than 2,500 customers, according to a release.

Deltek President and CEO Mike Corkery said his company is always looking for ways to expend its capabilities and add value to its customers.

“By acquiring Replicon, we will add another complementary solution — a sophisticated and intuitive project time tracking, knowledge workforce management and PSA solution suite, which will enable Deltek to serve the needs of even more project and service-centric organizations,” he said. “With this acquisition, Deltek will remain committed to Replicon and its partnerships and will continue to improve and expand integrations with leading HR, ERP and project management providers. We are incredibly excited to welcome the Replicon family of employees, customers and partners to Deltek Project Nation.”

Raj Narayanaswamy, Replicon's co-founder and co-CEO, was thrilled about the combination of the two software companies.

The transaction between Deltek and Replicon is expected to close in the coming weeks, on condition that it receives regulatory approval and all the customary closing conditions are met.
