Hungry Kids Can't Do Their Best In School
Help Provide Food For Families With Limited Resources

The Weekend Food for Kids Program is a key focus of Assistance League of Northern Virginia’s efforts to help students from low-income families who struggle to provide basic necessities. There’s no escaping the fact that continuing high costs for groceries are pinching budgets, and some children go hungry over the weekend when school meals are not available. You can help Assistance League keep the elementary students we serve at local Title 1 schools from going hungry by contributing items from our September Food for Kids Wish List.
Use this link: https://tiny.alnv.org/FoodForKids or scan the QR code on the flyer to access the list. Please select Assistance League of Northern Virginia as the mailing address to assure timely delivery. If you would prefer not to order through Amazon, you can pay by personal check for these items. Please send your check, made out to ALNV, to P.O. Box 209, Herndon, VA 20172 and include "Wish List/month" in the memo line. (E.g., if you order in September, please write Wish List/September).
Assistance League is extremely grateful for the tremendous support provided by community members for the ongoing wish lists. Many thanks for your generosity.
