2022 Friday Night Live! Season Opener Canceled Due To Heavy Rain

The organizers of Friday Night Live! have canceled the first concert of the season due to heavy rain.

Update (May 6, 3 p.m.): The organizers of the Friday Night Live! summer concert series canceled the May 6 performance of It's All Good due to heavy rain.

"Due to the expectation of rain all day along with flood warnings, we are cancelling Friday Night Live! for tonight," said Laura Poindexter, chairwoman of Friday Night Live!, in an email shortly before 12 noon. "While we normally do not cancel this early in the day, the near certainty of an eventual cancellation dictates that we allow the band, food vendors, etc. to plan accordingly for their day rather than drag things out to the end."

Poindexter invited the public to come to the May 13 performance of JunkFood.
