Major Deal Signed At Herndon Tower: Report
Government contractor Akima will occupy 70,000 square feet at Dulles View.

HERNDON, VA -- A government contractor has just signed a deal to take over three floors in the Dulles View South Tower in Herndon, according to a report.
Virginia Business reports that Akima will occupy 70,000 square feet of space on the sixth, seventh, and eighth floors in the tower, which it will move into in July 2019.
“Akima’s decision to move to Dulles View’s South Tower is a tremendous win,” Tom Cresce, managing director, JLL, said in a statement as reported by Virginia Business. “Akima sees the value of the project’s on-site amenities, efficient floor plates, premier location and outstanding signage visibility from Route 28 and Dulles International Airport. It’s a very desirable option for tenants looking to be near the Dulles Toll Road, Dulles International Airport and the future Innovation Center Metro Station.”
