HERNDON, VA — Police are investigating after they say two people in a car abducted a man at gunpoint in Herndon, took him to Centreville, and then robbed him.

Police say the victim was at the intersection of Alabama Drive and Arkansas Avenue on Aug. 19 when a vehicle pulled up alongside him, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

The two occupants of the vehicle brandished handguns and told him to get into the vehicle, the report states, adding that he was then driven to the Centreville area where he was robbed of cash and his cell phone.
