HERNDON, VA — It only comes once a year and some people may argue that it's a "made-up holiday," but there is one special day that's set aside for us to celebrate the ones we love the most: our dogs.

National Dog Day falls on Aug. 26 and Patch wants Herndon readers to share photos of their beloved pups to be featured in an upcoming article.
