UPDATE: Power Loss Means Community Center Closed Through Thursday Night

UPDATE, 2:27 P.M.: The Town reported shortly before 2:30 p.m. that, due to the loss of power reported earlier, the Community Center will remain closed for the rest of the day, and all evening classes and activities have been canceled.

The Town of Herndon reported that a power outage has temporarily closed the Herndon Community Center Thursday.

The pool and center are both closed for the remainder of the day.

According to a public information officer for the Town, a decision will be made at 2 p.m. whether evening classes can be held as scheduled.
