Shots Fired In Herndon Neighborhood: Police

HERNDON, VA -- Police are investigating after a weekend report of shots fired in Herndon, and the subsequent discovery of a bullet lodged in a nearby home.

Police were called to the 900 block of Barton Oaks Place on Feb. 2 to a report of shots fired, but they weren't able to locate any suspects in the area, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

Later that morning, police responded to another call -- this time, a report of a bullet discovered in a nearby home.

Police processed the scene for evidence, and the case is under investigation. There were no injuries report.
