Taco Bamba Herndon Set To Open In April At Dulles Shopping Plaza
Chef Victor Albisu will be opening the newest location of his Taco Bamba in April in the Village Center at Dulles Shopping Plaza in Herndon.

HERNDON, VA — Taco Bamba, the popular Washington, D.C.-area restaurant chain founded by Chef Victor Albisu, will be opening for business on April 4, in the Village Center at Dulles shopping center.
"We get a constant drumbeat of requests to bring Taco Bamba to specific neighborhoods, cities, and even countries,” said Albisu, in a release. “But the most vocal and most frequent of all those requests have come from our fans in Herndon. I can see why. It’s a true melting pot of cultures and people from different backgrounds, exactly the type of place where Taco Bamba can thrive creatively.”
The new restaurant occupies a 2,850 square foot space with 20-30 indoor seats and include seasonal patio. Decorations include the Herndon location's mascot, a levitating rooster enjoying a copita of mezcal created by artist Alexa Indriolo, according to a release.

Abisu and his culinary team of Tom Hall and Faiz All will prepare a unique menu just for Herndon, offering tacos, tostadas and super tortas.
The menu for the Herndon Taco Bamba will also offer newly added items like Pack the Bowl, which is the restaurant's take on salad. It will also feature location -specific empanadas and free coffee till noon to accompany it all-days breakfast items.

The Herndon location will continue Taco Bamba’s Montalbán Mondays tradition. This weekly special will offer a tasting flight of three Del Maguey mezcals alongside a generous mixed grill platter that includes carne asada, chorizo, mushrooms, grilled onion, jalapeño, cotija cheese, arbol peanut salsa, and chipotle charred eggplant salsa. All of this will be served with stack of warm tortillas.
Taco Bamba Herndon is located at 2445 Centreville Road. The restaurant will be open Sunday-Thursday, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and Friday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3-6 p.m.
