• Seven arrested, charged in drug case (insidenova.com) — Hillsville residents should know that a regional drug task force including the Hillsville Police Department recently helped arrest seven people on multiple methamphetamine, marijuana, and firearms charges in Carroll County. Authorities say the December operation involved numerous search warrants, but they have not yet released details on where the raids or arrests occurred, promising more information may come later.
