On Dec. 12, a homeowner in the 2900 block of Colebrook Lane reported an attempted burglary to police.
The homeowner said that she had been asleep that afternoon, and she awoke when she heard her dogs barking. When she went to investigate, she heard her front door shut.
When police investigated at 2:34 p.m., they found no evidence that anyone had forced their way into the home.

The homeowner did not see the intruder and nothing was stolen from the house.
