Burglar Attempts to Break Into Woodbridge Pawn Shop With Sledgehammer

Employees of on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge told police that a burglar attempted to break into the shop with a sledgehammer, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

The employees stated that the burglar had tried to enter the building between 9:30 p.m. on July 3 and 6:30 a.m. on July 5 by striking a cinderblock wall with a sledgehammer. 

The burglar was unsuccessful and did not enter the building, and no items were taken from the store.
