On Nov. 23, a homeowner in the 1700 block of Shady River Court in Lake Ridge reported the theft of an iPad, worth about $800. The homeowner told police that the burglary happened between 9 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 6 a.m. on Nov. 12. When police arrived, they found "no signs of forced entry into the residence," according to the police report. Police found that the burglar most likely entered the home through an unlocked window.
