Dale City Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Lake Ridge

Victim left at Troupe Street and Cordelia Street after his wallet was stolen.

On June 7 at around 11 p.m., a Dale City man, 28, was robbed at gunpoint at the intersection of Troupe Street and Cordelia Street in Lake Ridge, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

When police responded at 11:23 p.m., the victim said that three black males had offered him a ride to work. After they picked him up in the area of Old Bridge Road and Cotton Mill Drive, the men drove him instead to the intersection of Troupe Street and Cordelia Street, where a passenger in the back seat pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his wallet.

After the victim was robbed, he was left at the intersection. No one was injured.

Police are looking for three black males between the ages of 20 and 25. The victim said the men were driving a green or gray SUV. The victim claimed not to know any of them.
