Ex-Army Sergeant Major Spends Weekend in Jail
Gene McKinney pleaded guilty in a road rage case from October 2010, after an incident in which he picked up two slug passengers in Occoquan, drove over 90 miles an hour in the I-95 HOV lanes, and later struck one of the passengers with the car.

Ex-Army Sergeant Major Gene McKinney spent the weekend in jail after he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and reckless driving in an October 2010 road rage case, WTOP reports.
McKinney was convicted of reckless driving after he picked up two slug passengers in Occoquan on Oct. 25 and then drove more than 90 miles per hour in the I-95 HOV lanes.
When he dropped off the passengers on Eads Street in Crystal City, McKinney then drove forward and the car struck one of the passengers as the passenger was typing on his smartphone. This passenger had threatened to file a police report. The blow of the car reportedly gave the passenger a concussion.
