Here are five things you should know for the rest of your week:
1. Tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Occoquan Town Hall, Del. Rich Anderson will honor the memory of two deceased Occoquan residents by presenting two Joint House-Senate Resolutions to the families.
According to a prepared statement, they are, "HJR 946, celebrating the life of former Occoquan Mayor James Frank Phelps" and "HJR 945, celebrating the life of Gregory J. Gilker, an artist and community leader in Occoquan."

2. On Old Bridge Road, from Colby Drive to Minnieville Road, there will be alternating lane closures for pothole patching from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. through June 10.
