Sing Books With Emily:

July 13, 10:30 a.m., 12964 Harbor Dr, Lake Ridge. Vocalist Emily Everson will conduct a singalong with pictur books created from popular children's songs. Free. No registration required.

Army Band Concert:

July 13, 7:30-9 p.m. 1 County Complex Court, Woodbridge. The 257^th Army Band plays the music of John Philip Sousa, Tina Turner, Irving Berlin and more.  Free. Visit their website for more info.

Exploring Art and Science with Paper Plates:

July 14, 9 a.m.-noon. , 14300 Minnieville Rd, Dale City. Children from 3 to 5 years old can do this workshop on paper plates. $18.

Summer Smoothies:

July 14, 7 p.m. , 2201 Opitz Blvd, Woodbridge. Teens in 6th through 12th grade can create smoothies. Free, but limited to 20 people. The free passes can be picked up at 6:30 p.m. on the day of the event.

Family S'more Cache:

July 16, 5-8 p.m. , 12350 Cotton Mill Dr, Lake Ridge. Learn about geocaching by coming to the park to search for s'more ingredients. Then cook s'mores over a campfire. $25 for a family of 4. $5 for each additional person.
