Gun, Computers Stolen From Home Near Occoquan

The homeowner also reported the loss of a gaming console.

On Feb. 19, a homeowner in the 1700 block of Shady River Court near Occoquan reported the theft of a handgun, two computers, a gaming console, and games and gaming equipment. 

When police responded at 6:37 p.m., they found that the burglar had most likely gotten into the house through a rear window, which had been broken. The homeowner said that the burglar most likely got into the house between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. that same day. 

The value of the items stolen was about $2600 in total.
