Lake Ridge Man Charged With Possession of Child Pornography
Matthew Rocco was arrested Feb. 7, but the information regarding his arrest was only released recently.

On Feb. 7, Matthew Rocco, 25, of Lake Ridge, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
"This arrest had been previously held for investigative purposes," said Jonathan Perok of Prince William County Police.
The arrest concluded an investigation that began in August of last year, when the Northern Virginia / Washington D.C. Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a report that the accused possessed child pornography.

On Aug. 25, detectives executed a search warrant at the accused's house in the 4100 block of Burning Ridge Court in Lake Ridge. At the time of the search, investigators found digital evidence, which was later subjected to forensic review.
After a thorough investigation, Rocco was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of child pornography. His court date is March 30, and his bond information is unavailable.
