On Aug. 30, residents in the 3400 block of Cornice Place in Lake Ridge reported the theft of a laptop computer and jewelry. The items were worth about $600.
When police arrived at 8:28 p.m., they found no signs of forced entry into the residence. The residents told police that the burglar had entered the home between 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. that same day.
