Occoquan Hosts Reception for Unveiling of Mill Model
The reception is preceded by a lecture.

From Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta:
"Visit Occoquan this Saturday, March 31, to see the official unveiling of a scale model of Occoquan's 18th century mill. As earlier reported, the model was designed and handcrafted by accomplished woodworker and Council member Dr. James N. Walbert. Dr. Walbert donated the model to the Occoquan Historical Society (OHS) last December. On Saturday, OHS will sponsor a lecture and reception before formally unveiling the model at its new home in the Mill House Museum (413 Mill Street). Dr. Walbert will offer a slide-illustrated lecture on the model's construction at Town Hall (314 Mill Street) starting at 1 p.m. At the conclusion of the lecture, everyone is welcome to a reception with light refreshments outside the Mill House Museum, where the model will be unveiled. Everything is free and open to the public, so please consider visiting Occoquan for lunch and then stopping by the lecture and reception. For more information, click here."
