Pink Bicycle Tea Room to Hold Teas at Rockledge Mansion

Starting this month, the mansion and the tea room will be hosting several events together.

The and the in Occoquan announced recently that they will jointly host several events. Starting this month, the tea room will now hold tea parties at the historic mansion.

The Rocklege Mansion can hold 150 people, allowing the Pink Bicycle Tea Room's tea parties to expand.

"Tea parties have a long history globally of providing an intimate setting for social gatherings," said Lisa Johnson, owner of the Pink Bicycle Tea Room. "Partnering with the Rockledge Mansion will allow us to bring the art of tea and friendship to larger gatherings while continuing to celebrate the enriching culture and history of Occoquan."

The mansion, built in 1768, has traditionally hosted weddings and other events in its ballroom.

"Rockledge Mansion prides itself on bringing elegance and heritage to all of our events no matter how small or large," said Tasha Fuller, Director of Sales and Planning for Rockledge Mansion. "Our partnership with the Pink Bicycle Tea Room will allow us to build on that tradition and offer an additional experience for our guests that is steeped in history and social grace."
