Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Passenger Arrested

On Dec. 19 at about 2:20 p.m., police in the area of Old Bridge Road and Westridge Drive tried to stop the driver of a 2002 Toyota Corolla, "which had been reported stolen," according to the police report.

The driver reportedly continued to drive down Manchester Way, ignoring the police officer. Near the intersection of Devonwood Way, a female passenger reportedly bailed from the car, and was later arrested by police.

The driver reportedly drove on to the 4100 block of Hampstead Lane, where he left the car and fled the area. Police were unable to find him.

Police arrested Jade Arialle Murray-White, 19, of Richmond, and charged her with possession of stolen property. Her court date is unavailable, and she is being held on a $5000 secured bond.

Police are still investigating the identity of the driver, and are on the lookout for a black male between the ages of 20 and 25 years old, about 6 feet tall, 180 lbs, of medium build, with brown eyes, and shoulder-length black dreadlocks. He was reported as last wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans.
