VIDEO: Flooding in Occoquan Damages Homes and Shops

James Phelps shares another first-hand report of the flooding in Occoquan:

"Flooding continues in Occoquan, with tremendous damage to homes and businesses.  From my window, I can see Ballywack Creek pouring over Union Street at 411.  All of the houses and yards on Union street will have significant damage from the flood waters.

The historic district also is in bad shape. Most of the shops on Mill
Street are flooded, and the side streets are in rough shape.  Mayor Porta reports that water continues to stand, as we wait for the rain to subside. I can see that part of Union Street is undermined by the rain.

The morning will no doubt bring new, and probably worse, news."
