VIDEO: The Aftermath in Lake Ridge

I went down to the Lake Ridge Park Marina to check on the water levels while on my morning patrol with Woodbridge Patch editor Lauren Jost.

Though the park was open, water covered a large portion of the parking lot. Water flowed over the walkways and piers, and a large pile of debris lay upstream from where the boats were docked. When I was there, a kayak was towing a large log downstream.

Continuing on my rounds around Lake Ridge, I checked the Dominion Middle Ridge apartment building that had been . A gaping hole in the roof allows rain water to continue to pour in.
