Embezzlement, Phone Fraud, Garage Thefts
The following incidents were reported to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office in areas surrounding the Town of Leesburg.

Canned Worker Accused of Embezzlement
A business on the 19000 block of Winmeade Drive reported that a recently terminated employee is believed to have embezzled money intended for a company deposit. The incident occurred sometime between May 22 and Aug. 12.

Caller Threatens to Cut Power of Business
A resident of the 43000 block of Kimberley Court reported that someone called between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 6 and demanded a payment to a power company or his business power would be turned off. The power company denied making the call. The phone number, collected via Caller ID, was turned over to authorities.

Item Taken from Open Garages
- A bicycle was reported taken from an open garage on the 43700 block of Gold Hill Square around 3:30 p.m. July 27.
- Golf clubs were reported taken from an open garage on the 13600 block of Sylvan Bluff Drive just before midnight July 21. The incident was reported July 26.
