Get Your Grill On, Bye Bye Birdie, Get Dirty

It's almost the weekend — here are five suggestions for fun in Leesburg.

1. Do You Have What It Takes to Be A Grill Master?:
You might rule the grill at your house — but can you out-char the best barbecuers in Northern Virginia? The National Conference Center in Leesburg is extending its summer grilling contest, which seeks the best grilling recipe in the area. The prize: A $100 outback card and your dish featured at NCC. Get cooking.

2. We love you Conrad, oh yes we do: Sterling Playmakers’ ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ Continues at Potomac Falls High School. Show times are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday. Click here for more info from the Sterling Playmakers.

3. How Could You Say No To This Face? It's precisely why we're steering clear of the Loudoun County adoption drive. (If you're looking for a pet you should check it out — but we don't have room for 25 puppies, which is how many we'd probably bring home).

4. Feeling Blue? The Smurfs 2 is in theaters — here's our review

5. Embrace the Mud: Running Dirty, a Navy SEALs Inspired Mud Run, kicks off at 10 a.m.
