Holiday Artisan Market To Open In Village At Leesburg In November

An indoor artisan market is coming to the Village At Leesburg next month, just as residents start planning their holiday shopping.

LEESBURG, VA — A new market for artisans is coming to Village at Leesburg in November, just in time for residents to start their holiday shopping. MADE Market will feature work from local artists, jewelers, and crafters.

The market will open on Nov. 4 and will be open Thursday through Sunday each week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The market, which is located at 1609 Village Market Boulevard in Suite 110, will close on Jan. 2.

Susan Bourgeois is the executive director of Leasing & Brokerage at Rappaport, the company that owns, manages and leases Village at Leesburg. "We wanted to be able to provide shoppers with an upscale and unique arts and crafts show experience indoors," Bourgeois said.

Most of the artisans who will display and sell their work at the market are based in Loudoun County, according to a news release announcing the retail space. Some of them will even be present at the market to work shoppers and even create something with them.
