Little City Gift Card Relaunched During 2023 Holiday Season

The Little City Gift Card can be purchased for use at about 70 participating local businesses in Falls Church. The initiative was introduced in 2022 by the Economic Development Office and Economic Development Authority to help with COVID-19 recovery and promote local spending. This year's gift card program began on Small Business Saturday.

ParCiti Offers Year-Round Golf And Entertainment At Arlington Center

ParCiti Golf, a new virtual indoor golf and entertainment facility in Arlington, is offering holiday and winter events for players who typically put away their clubs for the season when the weather gets colder. ParCiti, which opened earlier this year, features state-of-the-art simulators inside individual bays that adapt to any playing level, from new learners to scratch golfers.

French, Italian-Inspired Boutique Plans Old Town Alexandria Opening

Locally-owned boutique Crème de la Crème announced it will open in March 2024 at 907 King Street. The boutique offers high-end tableware and home goods inspired by French and Italian living. This will be its fourth store, with others in Richmond, Middleburg, Virginia and Frederick, Maryland.

New Upscale Restaurant The Maple Room Opens In Vienna

There's a new fine dining restaurant filling the void of the old Amphora Restaurant location in the southwest end of town — at least for dinner. The Maple Room Restaurant & Lounge opened Sunday at 377 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VA. It is in the former location of Amphora Restaurant, which closed in early 2021 after 44 years.

New Inova Urgent Care Facility Opens In Ashburn

A new urgent care facility opened its doors on Monday in Ashburn, courtesy of Inova. The facility is designed for urgent health concerns that might not warrant a visit to the emergency room. Inova officials said patients will visit the urgent care with COVID-19, flu, minor cuts, fractures, sprains, and allergies.
